Stand and deliver part one details

Passing over a bridge in a robin egg blue car he sees men selling apples. In front of him men in the back of a truck and to his right piñatas, graffiti. Left a muffler shop a band and a taco stand. The man enters a school which has been vandalized. He tells the woman at the counter that he is Mr. Escalante. He is supposed to tech computer science but there are no computers. So he goes into a math classroom. The kids are ruthless and disrespectful. The classroom is littered with graffiti all over the walls. As Mr. Escalante tries to teach the disrespectful kids the bell goes off early. Someone rigged the bell. The kids go back to class. The next day he tries to teach the kids percent’s with apples. Two tough looking kid’s come in late with slips. When the kids disrespect the teacher he tries to counteract them with math. Class is out and kids are fighting on an opposite side of a fence where teacher is watching. He stops one of the kids named Angel from fighting which turns out to be one of his students. He starts to talk to the kids about negative numbers. He uses confidence with some of his kids and he repeats some of his lessons to help the students keep the lessons in their heads. In a conference he says he can teach the kids more. The next day he starts the class talking about quizzes. One of the tough looking kids hat had started to fight asked the teacher for help with other kids seeing his books. He gives him three one for classroom one for locker and one for home. In class he gives another quiz which one of the students refuses to take. He put the student in a chair facing the other students while they did the quiz. Next day one of the kids are late he tells the kid to go to another class but he wants to stay so he lets the kid sit. The kid tells the teacher that he has forgotten his pencil and a girl says he can have hers because it is her last day. He goes to the girl’s family restaurant to talk to the girl’s father about her math and that she could go to college instead of working at the restaurant. The father tells them to leave. Next day the teacher is asking for the answer for a problem which none of the students can seem to find the answer. Then all of a sudden the girl from the restaurant comes into the classroom with the answer.
